The Bodrum peninsula is a collection of very different places. Yalıkavak is lively and international; Göltürkbükü is known for its waterfront; Gündoğan and the northern hills feel quieter and more residential.
Choose the setting first
Orientation, wind exposure, road access in summer and distance to the sea shape daily life far more than a floor plan. We recommend visiting in different seasons where possible.
Due diligence
Zoning, building permits, occupancy certificates and title status should be verified by an independent local lawyer before any commitment. This is not a formality.
After the purchase
Many owners use their villa seasonally. Arranging year-round care, maintenance and, if desired, rental management early makes ownership far more relaxed.
